Vehicular traffic near all international schools is closely monitored by LTA & relevant agencies, and traffic jams caused by vehicles is a matter of serious concern. The Punggol Field Walk road forms a major artery to school’s vehicular traffic and affects nearby residents.

To avoid any traffic jams or inconvenience to nearby residents, GIIS conducted an in-depth traffic impact study and based on which Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) adjusted the timings of over ten traffic lights in the school vicinity and on roads approaching the school to ensure smooth traffic near the school.
