A multipurpose access card will be made available to students to avail facilities like the studios, lockers, the library, the cafeteria etc, as well as making cashless payments for books, stationery and food purchases.
Advanced id cards for touch and go
Each access card also comes with an RFID chip, enabling it to double up as a student identification card when required. In future, the RFID technology will also support location mapping, and bluetooth applications through the use of Bluetooth Light Energy 5.0.
Besides saving time for students, electronic access will eliminate the need for paperwork, which in turn will reduce our carbon footprint.
